Ya'll know how much I love the old Gothic soap opera Dark Shadows, well this is inspired by Rachel Drummonds little capelet, AKA Kitty Soames AKA Lady Hampshire I think of her as Rachel Drummond.

This one was my first color choice. Those of you who know what a peacock I am will think it strange. This color had to be black because he's so very evil, total predator, a snake in the grass.
But would you like the collar dark or light? Yarn dark or light?

Has to be worked in magenta which is the color I made the sample from. Dark magenta collar and a light pink yarn. Which is where I hit a road block, what if you don't like dark magenta by your face.

As the governess, I love this blue blouse so, went with a pale sky collar. Can do any color blue, the collar here is actually Wedgewood.
Blue Violet
Had a hard time getting this color to be the same as in real life... it has a lot more character when you see it in person. At times the dye pops deep magenta which comes through as red violet, others a dark turquoise which shows up as sapphire. It keeps you knitting just one more row. Beads are Iris multi, very dark and pretty.

Why multi? Took three different colors before I was happy with the yarn shading.
Found these beads for the shawl, will look smashing.

Couple of colors I'd love to paint, teal like this skirt only more blue,,, can do more yellow, totally dealers choice.
Another I'd love to do is my Blue Violet color which leaves tiny dots of turquoise and hot pink on the yarn. The color sort of blends through a deep, hot periwinkle and into a medium violet, it's amazing. I've painted this color on sheets, hankies, socks, pillows to embroider on, socks, t shirts, pants, totes, fabric for quilting, and on the list goes. "If it'll hold still long enough and I'm in the room, fair game."
