Lady Mary

 
Most of you know I've been sitting on some camel/silk lace, all I knew was that I wanted to design something from an older era. I had been calling this "regency" for these last few years. Finally, after all this percolating, the pattern finally hatched. A great pattern to do homage to our Downton Abbey fans. We already have a Lady Rose pattern so it was time for Lady Mary, the lil vixen.
 
The shawl is a Faux Faroese with a collar, off the edge edging on the collar as well as, top and center back panels. Little bit of easy twist stitches, lace, beading and you have a nice lil' bit of history.
This is a mystery KAL which starts August 30th, comes out on Wednesdays and runs for five weeks.

BEADS 
So as not to send anybody running for the hills, this shawl is not beaded to within an inch of it's life. Wanted to but held back cause those from the flapper era have pounds of beads on them. 
  • 22 grams of 8/0
  • 85 each of the 3mm Czech Fire Polished clear rainbow faceted round crystals.
Colors:
  • Lady Grantham has a purple rainbow
  • Lady Mary has cobalt silver lined
  • Lady Edith has clear silver lined
Each bead set comes with a hook and eye clasp for collar closure.

STITCH MARKERS


Aren't the lobsters adorable? The "girls" all have "trains", can't you just see them coming down the grand staircase. Set includes, 1 of the girls on lobster, (let me choose the color) set 5 loops of red hearts, rounds with caps, all glass and golden metals.

I had so much fun making these, if anyone needs something special please PM me cause I love making markers. I also have just about everything.

PROJECT BAG FOB
Can't decide between coffee, tea or cola? We got em all. I kept thinking of a picnic and was headed there when I was derailed. There should be a basket on here but I'm not seeing it. Some of the tea pots lids actually open. I think I'm low on the pots though.


All along I've been thinking of our Mary as a vixen due to the blue frock photo. I know I've got a purple fox here someplace but it remains hidden. Woulda been sweet here in these markers. If I find them between now and ship date, I'll include it for free, she's just that cute.
