Stranger Things MKAL

 It's that time Kiddies, the final episodes of Stranger Things is now streaming, time for our KAL. I based the design on the Season 2 poster.

The colors I painted, were a bit more difficult. I changed bases as many times, as I did the colors, I played over and over again with my paints. I'm finally very pleased with what all the dyeing has accomplished. 

This is a 6 wedge shawl with front borders. Beads are optional, they are the stuff drifting down in the Underground. I didn't put them in the body of the shawl, that's for you to do. Very random will look swell, or outlining the monster, yes, it's the monster. Beads are 6/0 clear, silver lined, 20 grams is plenty. These are optional and found in Extras below. 

MKAL will begin 10-19-22, total of 4 clues, will come out on Wednesdays.

Bases, I wanted to go with: 
Fairy Deluxe Sock 100% SW merino sock, 822 yds per XL 150g skeins, you'll receive 2. 
     Went to replenish and found out, it's discontinued, too bad, we all loved this base.

Fairy Fine 100% SW merino 490 yds/100g, sending 3 skeins.

The method used are Meldy Deep (bright's) and Overdye (darker) techniques.

NOTIONS
This time I've got a serious bit of notions for ya'll best of all, additional shipping is FREE. The last entry is the Tube to hold the beading wires so they don't take on damage. I don't know about you but I'm forever catching them on something or other, mostly Berber carpet and my hands, HA! With the Tubes I'm adding the end stoppers cause I lost all of mine, tried pencil erasers and they never worked for me.
The six crochet hooks in organizer are all for lace work for 6,8 and 11 beads: 2 
If you don't have a Chiagoo for lace fixed with red cable, you need to get them. That cable of theirs has never kinked on me after over a decade of knitting. Blowing out the line, I've everything from full sets, DPNs down to Minis so holler, YarnFairy1@gmail.com

Notions

Stack organizer 
Different bead style of organizers for you, these stack and are great for more then beads. I use them in the office with paper and binder clips. Pills, anything that you need to organize in a small space, these are terrific.



BEADS
Had a bit of trouble with lighting for these. They are all much more muchier in person. For example the bottom right, they are clear, not white. Blacks are correct but the red is a lovely crimson, the silver lining makes them just pop. Blue are brighter a cobalt with AB.
