We all came together from our various pursuits for the strangest sight was to be had. There, rolling around in a death grip was a jack rabbit, twisting around a diamond back rattler.
I didn't have the nerve to come within 8 feet of one, here was this rabbit holding on for dear life kicking with it's hind legs. Who knew these furry bunnies had it in them. The rabbit lost it's grip and that snake slithered right up the poplar tree.
This story always inspires me to keep fighting against my diseases. When I get really inspired, designs flow. Sort of like the spice on Arrakis must flow. Diamond Back is a hat and sock pattern with the snakes diamonds. Killer Bunny's is a color work hat pattern full of bunny's. Together they should be in a book. Bunny actually has bunny yarn in it for the ears, tails and other soft areas.
Killer Bunny Set
Hat is worked in blocked off sections of colors for loads of fun. There's a lace section full of yummy clovers for our bunnies.
Sock set includes one additional bunny in the color work section. There's a good bit of color blocks in the socks and contrasting toes, heels and ribbing to allow for a bit more fun.
Hat Kit includes all the yarn you will need in our Siren Sock 80/20 merino/nylon, super soft. Kits have all the beads for eyes and cute noses as well as one leather hand made patch. The pattern is available here.
Sock Kit includes all the yarn in Siren Fine 85/15 merino/nylon which is as soft as cashmere but holds definition well. Kit also includes beads and a patch. Sock photos to follow.
